These rules are not only to protect the Home but the couple involvedm as adults We all must follow rules and some may seem a bit odd, but it's for the best of the Couple and the Members of the Home.
1. The Couple must both be members of the Home, and holds jobs in the Home.
2. It doesn't matter if one part of the couple is custom to Their ways, the world has many different lifestyles, if one or both refuse to follow Our customs then the courting is cancealed.
3. The courting will last a month r/l, which is 1 year r/p.
4. There will be no sexual contact, no bedding, and no petting.
5. If apart of the couple fails to do Their jobs, or becomes unable to comtrol Their sexual needs, the courting will end, and the rule breaker will be punished.
These rules will be followed, I will not bend them for anyone, be it friend or Child, if You can't follow these rules, then You can't marry in this Home, so You have to make a choice, accept them or pack and leave, Your choice.
The Free Companion Ceremony
The Ceremony is a 3 day event, which is headed by Spike and Nokica, for We are the ones Who decide on the contract and the prep for the Ceremony.
Day 1: Spike and Nokica will take the Man away from the Main Hall to an Office, to talk about the contract, the Woman is not allowed to be involved for the Man is paying to wed the Woman, once the contract is cleared and signed, then Dady 2 can be planned.
Day 2: Prep Ceremony Party: This is where Spike and Nokica announce the Ceremony and introduce the Couple to the City, We eat drink and celebrate the Couple and pray for Their happiness.
Day 3: The Ceremony: Arctic will walk the Woman to the alter, be it in the Family's Church or elsewhere, Nokica will do the Ceremony, which may take sometime, and then the Man takes His Woman over HIs shoulder to His Room/camp, does what every Man desires to make sure She is pure and then it's PARTY TIME.
Divorce Rules.
For Nokica to do a Divorce there are rules She must go by, and these rules She will never bend.
1. If one or more have cheated.
2. If They are unable to agree or They can't solve Their differences.
3. One has lied too many times to the other.
4. One has left for 3 r/l months without a word.
5. Became a coward and ran off with someOne else, or refused to protect His Woman.
A Divorce is the last thing Nokica does, She hates to do it for She feels somehow She failed the Couple in not spotting a problem at the beginning, so it takes alot out of Her to sign the papers, understand that a Divorce in the Family is like a blow to Spike and Nokica's love for each Other.
